Aidan Culhane was the Labour Party candidate for the 2007 General Election in Dublin South. He is a councillor representing the Dundrum Electoral Area, including Balally, Ballinteer, Churchtown, Clonskeagh, Dundrum, Goatstown, Marley and Windy Arbour.

First elected in 1999, Aidan topped the poll in the 2004 local elections. He is leader of the Labour group on Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and is chairman of the Housing SPC, and the County Development Board.
