Cllr Billy Kyne
Cllr Kyne was first elected to Dungarvan UDC in 1979 and co-opted onto the County Council two years later, retaining his seat on both local authorities at every election since.
Billy, son of the late former TD Tom Kyne, was elected Mayor for the fourth time in 2007, having previously chaired the local authority in 1988, '90 and '92, as well as Dungarvan Town Council on a number of occasions.
