Good news for the Residents of Tournore, Abbeyside , Dungarvan, Co. Waterford

Cllr. Conway welcomes the decision of the Town Council to erect a railing at the pedestrian exit from Tournore Park on to Coolagh road. In recent weeks Cllr. Conway had been contacted by some residents in the Tournore and Burgery area about the issue in relation to the pedestrian exit from Tournore Park onto the burgery footpath.
‘A number of parents had told me of their concern that a child might cycle or a younger child may run straight through the exit and onto the road.’ Following successful representations being made to the Town Council it has been confirmed to Cllr. Conway that the Town Council will install a barrier in the coming weeks. ‘This is a great decision as the safety of our children is of paramount importance ‘
