Welcome to my webpage, I am currently a Labour party Councillor on Clonmel Borough Council & South Tipperary County Council.
It is a great honour for me to be elected Mayor Of Clonmel for 2011-2012, the town that our great Party was found in. I look forward to welcoming Labour to Clonmel next May to celebrate our 100th Anniversary.
I am married to Yvonne Hannigan from Cashel and am son of Sean Ryan & Marie Ryan (nee O’ Dwyer) 160 Elm Park Clonmel. I work in a Day Activation Centre for people with Intellectual disabilities, run by the Brothers of Charity.
I am a known and dedicated community worker for many voluntary and community groups in and around Clonmel. I have been one of the hardest working councillors in Clonmel since my election and have been working hard on a lot of issues, disability,community policing, improving & maintaining our health services in South Tipperary, better youth and community services for Clonmel, traffic calming on Clonmel by-pass to name just a few.
