Deputy Eamonn Maloney Welcomes new Capital Funding for Tallaght Hospital

Following questions I put down at the Oireachtas Health commitee this morning I recieved confirmation from the Minister for Health and the HSE that funding in the amounts of over 3 million euro for 2011 and 4 million in 2012 will be released to Tallaght Hospital for capital programmes and the upgrading of equipment. 3 million has recently been released to the hospital.Included in this funding is an upgrade of the CT equipment for the Hospital.This is a welcome move and will assist the Busiest Hospital in the state to reduce waiting times for diagnostics.
