This is an exciting time for Waterford City with a lot of positive things happening. This change for the better is the result of the hard work and dedication of a lot of people in our City. On the Biography section of this website you will see that I have been involved in many of the key projects that are at the heart of this progress.
The Labour Party, through Brian O’Shea T.D our former T.D, and now through Ciara Conway T.D in Dail Eireann and Cllr. Pat Hayes, Cllr. Seamus Ryan and myself on Waterford City Council, have continually pressed the case for Waterford. We have fought hard for issues like University Status for WIT, for Public Radiotherapy and improved Neurology Services at WRH, the extension of Breast Check to Waterford, for the introduction of measures to tackle Anti-social Behaviour and increased investment to improve the Industrial, Commercial, Social, Cultural and Sporting fabric of our City.
I believe that I have worked hard and effectively with my Labour Party colleagues on Waterford City Council over the past 6 years. We still have a lot more to do to if we are to provide the high quality living environment the people of Waterford deserve. We need to ensure that we develop a thriving city centre and improve amenities for all our people, young and old. We need to bring more employment opportunities to our City.
