Cornally & Penrose Welcome Estimates Announced by Westmeath County Council

After making representations on behalf of their constituents, Cllr. Detty Cornally and Cllr. Johnnie Penrose are delighted to announce the following road works announced in the estimates for 2009, by Westmeath County Council:

Local Road Surface Dressing

Baronstown €15,000, Bunbrosna/Ballynacargy €15,000, leney €15,000, Multyfarnham / Bunbrosna €15,000, Oaklawns €25,000, Portloman €15,000, Rathaspic €15,000, Relic €15,000, Relicc/Rath €15,000 and Vallley Bungalows €20,000.

Local Road Restoration

Joanstown €48,000, Skeaghmore €64,000, Glascorn €48,000, Slanebeg (phase 1) €14,463, Pishanagh/Rathduff €48,000, Rowlandstown €48,000 and Rockfield €48,000.

Local Road Restoration

Empor €11,000

Footpath Improvement

Mullingar Road, Ballynacargy €25,000, Ballinalack €20,000 and Gainstown €10,000.

Other Improvement Works

School Lane - Rathowen €8,000, Community Centre Layby - Rathowen €5,000, Skeagh Beg drainage €8,000 and Kilgawny drainage €10,000.

Public Lights

1 No. Harbour St. Ballynacargy, 1 No. Coolnahay, 1 No. Sonna Church and 1 no. Grange/Valley Bungalows.

Low Cost Safety Works

Rathcolman Cross €40,000 and Strattonstown Bend €35,000.

Both Councillor's Cornally and Penrose have been diligent in their campaign to have these works done and are happy that they have finally come to fruition.
