Ken FarrellCathaoirleach Leas-Cathaoirleach Cllr Ken Farrell

In June 2009, I made a successful return to local politics having retired as a councillor, a post that I held from 1985 until 1999. Described by local media as the ‘Come Back Kid’ , the 2009 electoral success was a land slide vote on the first count, receiving 3,388 votes and surpassing the quota of 2,951.
The election campaign was an ideal opportunity for me to listen to local people’s concerns and ideas on the needs and future development for their community. I was taken aback by the loyalty of the people who knew me locally, who trusted my commitment to our community and ensured my continued representation on Fingal County Council.

I would be delighted to hear from residents and community groups should they wish to raise issues of concern with me.

Look forward to hearing from you
