I am proud to represent the people of Kilkenny in promoting the cultural, social and economic development of our beautiful city and county. I am honoured to have served as Mayor of Kilkenny city on two occasions and in so doing, have promoted a positive image of Kilkenny and its people.

I endeavour to secure a fair share of public services for all through my membership of many organisations and groups. As a long-standing community activist, it is my intention to continue to champion the cause of those who may need extra support in accessing services within our community, young and not so young alike. My long-standing commitment to education for all has been copper-fastened in my Chairmanship of Co. Kilkenny Vocational Education Committee.

As a widow and mother of five, and having lived through more than one recession, I understand the challenges and pressures facing many in these uncertain economic times. If there are any isuues that you would like to raise with me, do not hesitate to contact me.
