Dublin South Central

Mary Upton

Welcome from Mary Upton TD Spokesperson on Arts, Sport and Tourism

Thank you for taking the time to visit my section of the Labour Party website.

This website will allow you to learn more about the work I do as a Labour Party representative for Dublin South Central both locally and in Dáil Éireann. Living and working in my constituency, I see every day the challenges we all face – unemployment and recession, inadequate health care, educational disadvantage, poor planning, waste of public money. Finding solutions to such problems is what motivates me and the Labour Party.
As party spokesperson on Tourism, Culture and Sport I am aware of the importance of these areas to Irish society. Tourism provides jobs and employment across the country. Culture defines who we are as a nation and provides an outlet for our creativity. Sport is a passion for Irish people in every parish and city in the country. Moreover participating in sport brings significant health and societal benefits. I am working every day to develop innovative ways of supporting theses areas and reallocating out existing resources to make them work more efficiently.

I hope you find this website useful. You can also visit my personal website, www.maryupton.ie. Please feel free to get in touch on any issue of concern to you at 6183756 or call to any of my advice clinics.
