Affordable Homes

Fingal Council has been the leading provider of affordable homes in the country. Just over 300 affordable houses and apartments were sold by Fingal in 2009 and the Council now has over 100 properties available for sale in various parts of the County, including Dublin 15. Prices range from €90,000 to €200,000 and there are some "terms and conditions". Fuller details are available on www.fingalcoco.ie/housing/affordablehousing.

The way prices are moving (mostly downwards!), it's hard to say what is good value for money. he affordables are, however, usually priced well below the "open market" prices for new homes.
