Local Grow-it-Yourself initiative in Dublin 6

The Grow-it-Yourself movement is now holding meetings in Rathgar.
If you're interested in growing your own food, then you might be interested in going to one of the GIY (Grow It Yourself) meetings in Rathgar/Terenure.
The group meets on the first Monday of each month at 8pm in Rathgar Junior School on Grosvenor Road in Rathmines. Entry is free. The next meeting is on December 6th, when the guest speaker will discuss the various traditions around Christmas food. There will also be a demonstration on making your own Christmas wreath from fruit and veg, plus the usual growing tips and gardener's calendar. Visit www.giyireland.com for more information.
