Patrick comes from a family with a strong tradition of supporting and working for the Labour Party in his local area. Patrick is a committed Socialist who has been involved in active politics for nearly a decade.
Throughout his political and professional life Patrick has dedicated himself to campaigning for social justice and community development. Patrick already has vital and wide-ranging experience in national politics. Having served as National Chairperson of Labour Youth in 2007 Patrick helped Labour Youth into the fastest growing youth movement in Ireland.
In 2006 Patrick was a candidate for Deputy President of USI ( Union of Students in Ireland ) where he secured more 1st preference votes than any other candidate. He has appeared in national media on programs like Drivetime, This Week and on Newstalk. As someone who has been involved in active politics for nearly ten years. Patrick has built up a reputation for strong leadership, hard work and a tireless commitment to equality and social justice.
Patrick has a proud track record of campaigning for social equality. In university he was heavily involved in the campaign against the Iraq war and the campaign for free education. He has vast experience in being involved in local and national election campaigns in Dublin West.
