Ronan McManusCathaoirleach Cllr Ronan McManus

Ronan McManus was first elected to Bray Town Council in June 2009 and elected Cathaoirleach of Bray Town Council in June 2011

I have lived in Bray for my entire life and have witnessed many changes in the town in that time. In particular I have observed the whittling down of council services; from the general maintenance of the town, to refuse collection, to the provision of affordable housing. I feel that local government should be just that, government by local people through their elected councillors, and I will strive to provide the services to which my constituents are entitled.

What I hope to achieve in Bray Town Council over the next five years is to

  1. Stimulate job-creation in the local area
  2. Ensure the provision of quality public services
  3. Carry out the rejuvenation of Bray Main St.
