Cllr Sean Howard
I am retired after a 39year teaching career, 38 of which I spent at Árdscoil Phádraig, Granard. Married to Winnie since 1969, I have three sons and three grand children. I have been a member of Granard Town Council since 2004 and over the years I have been involved in many local activities such as
- the Granard Towns Committee which is actively involved in improving the town’s appearance.
- Granard Butter market restoration committee.
- Granard Town Councils representative on County Longford Heritage Council.
- Member of Granard Credit Union.
I also take an active interest in environmental and horticultural issues in the local community. I would like to see the establishment of clean and viable industry in the town and the continued development of Granard, building on its traditions as a market town, a centre of culture and a reputation for hospitality.
I am available at all times to help deal with any queries or issues that you would like to raise.
