In a joint statement, Seamus Rodgers and Siobhan McLaughlin, have welcomed another 3% increase in support for the Labour Party.

This is a confirmation of what we have heard on the doorsteps of Donegal,They said. The Labour Party position on the Health Services, Education, Rural development, Community policing has been warmly welcomed by voters all over the County.'

' Voters in Donegal are fed up of the arrogance of this Government and especially the dirty tricks employed against the nurses, and the Stalin like treatment of the inshore fishermen by Fianna Fail has made many people determined to see a change of Government, they said.

It is looking increasingly certain that Labour and Fine Gael will be in The next Government and it is important that the people of Donegal have the best representation in that Government. The only parties who are giving the Voters a clear alternative are Labour and Fine Gael. Donegal will only get the change needed by voting Labour and Fine Gael candidates in the forthcoming election.
