Mayor Teresa Wright
Teresa is the current Mayor of Dungarvan having previously served as Mayor in 2008,2006 and 2001.
Whilst serving as Mayor of Dungarvan in the past, her priorities were to promote the inward investment of industry to Dungarvan in association with the local Task Force; the progression of the Community Resource Centre and tackling anti-social behaviour by establishing a consultative forum with the Gardai and the town council.
Speaking recently about her role as Mayor in 2011, she expressed her intention to promote Dungarvan to capitalise on its many benefits and positives and to help the economic and social development of the local community. Teresa hopes to continue to faciliatate the twinning of Dungarvan with other towns given the benefits of theFirst Twinning Agreement in 2007 with Erie Town in Pennsylvania
