18th Anniversary of the X Case Ruling

 

Labour Women, Labour Equality and Labour Youth are marking the 18th anniversary of the X Case Ruling

Labour Youth, Labour Equality and Labour Women will hold a panel discussion on Friday evening to mark the 18th anniversary of the X Case ruling. This landmark judgement granted a young woman who had been raped the right to a life saving abortion in Ireland.

The panel will include -
Senator Ivana Bacik, Labour Seanad Spokesperson on Justice
Anne Rossiter, Author of 'Irelands Hidden Diaspora' which charts the work of the Irish Womens Abortion Support Group.
