There are a number of upcoming Labour Youth events which we want to draw everyone's attention to:
The inaugural Connolly Lecture on Social Justice takes place on Friday 19th March at 6.30pm in the Robert Emmet Theatre in Trinity College. Full details are available here, and you can RSVP to this event on the facebook event page.
Over the next 10 days or so, a series of events are taking place across the country, that are being supported by Labour Youth. Two young women - Deema Darawshy (Israeli) and Sahar Vardi (Palestinian) will talk about their experiences. Some additional detail on these events can be found here, and again, you can RSVP on the facebook event page.
Lastly, the next Labour Youth National Meeting will take place in the UCD Student centre on Saturday 20th March from 1pm. We will open with a discussion on human trafficking (with guest speakers Cllr. Rebecca Moynihan and Nusha Yonkova of the Immigrant Council of Ireland) at 1pm, followed by the National Meeting at 2pm. National Meetings are an opportunity for all members of Labour Youth to decide on campaigns, and to get involved at a national level.
Please feel free to contact us at youth@labour.ie if you have any questions about any of the above events.
