Labour Youth will be hosting the annual Connolly Lecture on Social Justice.
The event has been titled "Why it's necessary to campaign for an Equal society in Modern Ireland and to fight to eradicate poverty and social injustice". The purpose of the discussion is to help Labour Youth to produce a pamphlet on a "New Deal for the Young of Ireland"
The panelists for the event will be:
Dr. Mary Murphy, former City Cllr and Lecturer in Social Policy in NUIM
Sr. Stanislaus Kennedy, founding member of Focus Ireland and Long time anti-poverty campaigner.
This will be taking place on Friday the 19th of March, in the Robert Emmet Theatre in Trinity College Dublin from 6:30 - 8:30pm. Please come along if you are available as all contributions from Party Members would be most welcome.
