LABOUR YOUTH TO HOLD NATIONAL CONFERENCE IN MAYNOOTH

Labour Youth will hold their annual National Conference:
6.30 pm Friday 5 November to 4pm Sunday 7 November,
John Hume Building, NUI Maynooth

Labour Youth Members from around the country will gather this weekend to vote through their policy agenda for the year.


Motions include topics as diverse as the banking crisis, taxation policy, and even the Reserve Defence Forces.


Delegates will also be electing a National Executive for the coming year.


There are over 100 delegates registered for two-day event, which is set to include plenty of debates, contested elections and workshops dealing with subjects such as Seanad Reform, the Economy and Student's Union Campaigning.


The Conference will be opened on Friday by Emmet Stagg TD and Labour Youth National Chairperson Rory Geraghty.
