Branch History: Re-founded last year after a few years off, Labour DCU has grown in leaps and bounds since its re-establishment. Previous speakers to the branch have included Ruairi Quinn, Roisin Shortall and most recently party leader Eamon Gilmore.

We hold a weekly public meeting for all like minded individuals to come and air their views on the state of Irish politics and these meetings often feature prestigious guest speekers from the world of labour politics. E-mail for further details.
This year we hope to campaign on campus to gain recognition for DCU as a member of the university electoral panel to Seanad Eireann, as well as being involved in other national and international campaigns.
We encourage anyone with a passion for social equality and fairness to join with us in creating a strong labour movement in DCU and further afield.
