Robert Ireton has a well-earned reputation as an experienced councillor and a dedicated community activist. Robert is a member of Courtown Community Council, Gorey Tidy towns, Seamount Residents’ Association and People with Disabilities in Ireland.
Robert was born and raised in Courtown and lives in Knockavota in Gorey with his wife Mary who is originally from Buffers Alley; he has 5 children and 4 Grandchildren.
As someone who works in a small business in the Tourism Industry, Robert knows the challenges facing our economy and community in tough economic times.
A keen listener, his door is always open to any constituent in need of assistance. He is a firm believer that working together, communities can achieve great results for themselves.
