Tuffy calls for efforts to save the 700 jobs at Elverys

Dublin Mid West Labour TD Joanna Tuffy has called on the Minister for Jobs and Enterprise to help to secure the jobs at Elverys including the local branch at Fonthill Retail Park off the Fonthill Road. She called there this morning to show her support for the workers. Elverys has 50 stores nationwide and employs 700 people. It is an Irish Company that has been taken into examinership. "The employees of Elverys have told me that they are very proud to work for the Company.  It would be ideal if the company could remain Irish owned and most important of all every efforts should be made to save the 700 jobs" Joanna said.
