Update on Proposed Swimming Complex for Maynooth

Councillors were given the following update by the Council’s Director of Services on 10 May

“Council Officials and K Leisure (a subsidiary of the Council) had a meeting on 9 May with NUIM Officials to discuss progressing the Joint Venture Swimming Pool Complex. A Business Case is being developed by K Leisure.  The intention is that 70% of the funding will be provided by NUIM, Kildare County Council and the State, with borrowings making up the remaining 30%.
