My name is Luke Carroll and I am the Labour Party candidate for the Cork City North West Ward in the Local Election. This area includes, Blarney, Tower, Kerry Pike, Shandon, Blackpool, Sunday’s Well, Shanakiel, Gurranabraher, Knocknaheeny, Hollyhill, Farranree and Churchfield.
I believe that together we can make our city a better place to live for everyone. I want to develop better services and support local organisations to build a strong community.
We need to see greater effort in tackling the ongoing housing crisis. I support increased development of social and affordable housing and provisions to tackle rising rents.
Residents deserve a cleaner, greener city. I will back measures on waste, litter and climate action.
I want to promote culture and the arts in Cork. As a graduate of Law & Irish, I want to see the Irish language at the heart of that. I am asking for your support as I believe I have the passion and commitment necessary to improve our area and build a better Cork.
In the meantime, if you have any issues please feel free to contact me.
Le meas, Luke
