Labour spokesperson on Enterprise and Innovation and Limerick City TD, Jan O’Sullivan, has welcomed the jobs boost announced for Limerick today, with up to 150 new roles set to come on stream at H&MV Engineering.

Deputy O’Sullivan said:

“This is great news for Limerick on the jobs front this morning and another sign the region is going from strength to strength.

“It’s really positive to see a local company creating new jobs in the area, and the doubling of the workforce is a real vote of confidence in the staff and Limerick City in general.

“H&MV is an important employer in Limerick and I’m really pleased to see that the new roles will also include apprentices and graduate positions, creating new opportunities for the growing young population.

“We need to see continuous investment in our regions and today’s announcement for Limerick is a very welcome boost.”
