Only days to go

Its the last few days of the campaign and day 23 started off with a photo opportununity in St Stephen's Green, Dublin, with Pat and Liz as well as Fine Gael's Enda Kenny and Richard Bruton highlighting the importance of the vote transfer pact between the two parties.
This was followed up this afternoon with a press conference with Ruairi Quinn and Fine Gael's Richard Bruton where they outlined the economic priorities of the Alliance for Change.
Speaking in a joint press statement they said: "Over the past three weeks, Fianna Fail has unleashed a relentlessly negative and untruthful campaign about Labour and Fine Gael's plans. In the final days of their dying Government they have moved from misrepresentations to outright lies about our policies.
"Why are they doing that? Because Fianna Fail has become the 'Can't do' party. They've thrown in the towel. All they offer is fear of change and more of the same.
"All of their attacks reveal one thing: they don't see the problems and they don't believe things can be better than they are today. The Taoiseach actually said the other night that he does not accept that health care is in crisis. He has said that people should congratulate him for the state of the health service.
"Does that sound like someone who is going to lead the charge for a better health service in the next five years? No, it's someone who simply doesn't think that things can be better.
"That's why Fianna Fail hasn't offered ONE idea, ONE plan, ONE area in which they will do anything differently than they are now when it come to health. Fine Gael and Labour disagree - we believe that Ireland can do better."
You can read the rest of the statement here.
Meanwhile Labour Youth has launched a campaign on Bebo urging young people to vote Labour.
Dermot Looney, Labour Youth Communications Officer, said that "Labour's use of Bebo is an innovative strategy which tries to connect with young people at our own level.
"Bebo is the most popular website in Ireland, but it has been largely ignored by all the other parties. We are mixing the social aspect of the site with serious politics and our belief is that there is huge value in engaging with people outside the traditional boundaries of political communication.
"Having being launched last Friday, there have already been a huge volume of hits on the site and a high level of interest among members and non-members alike.
"With candidates such as Dominic Hannigan and Eric Byrne making the most of blogging and online videos, Labour is leading the way in innovative online campaigning."
Incidentially Labour Youth have been interviewing some of our candidates, you can read the interviews here.
Finally one party member has been busy on Google Maps creating his own collection of what he describes as 'what we got from the last 10 years of growth' with the FF/PD Government, check it out here.
