Has the Taoiseach no shame? - Gilmore

"Has the Taoiseach no shame?
"The Taoiseach has come in here today to ask the Dáil to vote confidence in him and in his Government.
"I have no hesitation in saying that the Labour party will not do so.
"We will not vote confidence in Brian Cowen, because, like the people of this country, we have long ago lost faith in him and in his Ministers.
"We want Fianna Fail and the Greens out of Government, we want a General Election, and we want a fresh start for the country."
You can read Eamon's full speech which he delivered this afternoon during the confidence motion and watch the speech in the accompanying video. We also captured the speech given by our Education spokesperson Deputy Ruairi Quinn on our You Tube channel.
(We'll update the post with more Labour contributions in the morning.)
