Posted on September 15, 2011 at 05:11 PM

The Labour Leader and Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore today took Leaders' Questions in the Dáil, among the topics raised were the sale of State assets and lump sum payments for public servants.

Today is the first time that the Tánaiste has taken Leaders' Questions under the new Standing Orders and he robustly defended the record of Labour in Government.

You can watch the proceedings in the accompanying video and read the Dáil transcript when it is live on the Oireachtas website.
