We need a strong Labour Party in Dublin North-West

Earlier this week, members in Dublin North West selected Andrew Montague as our candidate in the constituency.
As a Councillor on Dublin City Council, Andrew has delivered many things for the City but the achievement he is most known for is delivering Dublin Bikes to Dublin. This scheme has been expanded to Cork and Limerick.
Speaking about his priorities for Dublin North-West Andrew said "For me housing is a key issue that highlights the need for a strong Labour Party. It’s heartbreaking to see young people that I’ve watched growing up ending up homeless. One young couple that I know well have spent the last 18 months moving from one hotel to another with their two children. They are trying to keep some stability in their children’s lives, and keep them in school in Ballymun. But it is a major challenge to get to school every morning as you move from one hotel to another around the city. I also have many friends in their 20s, 30s and 40s, that are working, but spending up to half their income on rent. They have little hope of buying a place of their own."
