Spring legacy set to continue in Kerry North

Last week, the members of the Kerry North - West Limerick met to select their candidate for the forthcoming General Election. Cllr. Arthur Spring was uncontested for the convention, which took place in the Grand Hotel in Tralee.

Joan Burton TD, Deputy Leader of the Labour Party addressed the room of over 100 delegates with an opening speech referring to the enormous Spring legacy in the Kerry North constituency. She referred to the enormous contribution made to Co. Kerry by Dan Spring (Arthur's grandfather) and Dick Spring (Arthur's uncle), as well as to the incredible success achieved by Arthur in topping the poll in the Tralee Electoral Area in the 2009 Local Elections.
