Following changes to the boundaries, I am now your local Labour Party representative for the Rathfarnham- Templeogue area. This area covers all of Rathfarnham, Templeogue and parts of the Greenhills area. I have previously represented this area prior to the boundary change and I would feel privileged to have the opportunity to represent you on local issues again.
I have lived in the Ballyroan area for many years and raised my now adult family here. In this time, I have always been involved in local issues and politics. Some of the key issues that I have worked to secure are; facilities for the elderly, cleaner streets, improved bus services, sustainable planning and the provision of new schools.
I believe my previous experience at South Dublin County Council has given me the understanding of the workings of the County Council that will allow me to get things done for our local communities.
My political priorities are:
• Access to good quality affordable housing
• Improved public transport links
• The provision of better local recycling facilities • Tackling crime and anti-social behaviour
I look forward to meeting as many residents as possible over the coming months and I hope to hear all your opinions as to how our community can be maintained and improved.
