Co-options to Labour Women Executive
16 August 2013
There are two vacancies on the Labour Women Executive. These vacancies have arisen due to a variety of circumstances: Katherine Dunne has moved back to the UK to live and work there and Sinead Ni Chulachain was recently appointed as a District Court Judge. Both of these women gave a huge amount to Labour Women over many years and we wish them well on their next stages in life.
We are therefore seeking to fill two places on the Labour Women Executive. If you feel that you can and would like to contribute to the team of Labour Women as we work towards the achievement of a genuinely Fair Society that supports and celebrates women's participation and contribution to society, then please get in touch. We will have a full Programme of activities in the lead up to the Local and European elections next May and are looking for dedicated and committed members for the Executive. The position requires attendance at monthly meetings and a commitment to help out at extra events Labour Women may organise. It is an opportunity to really contribute to the work of the Labour Party and to support the campaigns that Labour Women carry out in order to make Ireland a more equal society for all.
