Missed a bit, Lidl

Sinead Ahern, Chair of Labour Women, today called on supermarket chain Lidl  to clean up its act following its “Clean Up Week” specials ad which specifically targets women and mothers.

“It is frustrating in this day and age for a company such as Lidl to use such tired and sexist stereotypes to sell their products. Lidl 'missed a bit' with their clichéd and misogynistic advertising.

“This is a ‘lidl’ bit Mad Men for 2014.”
